It's so wonderful to know that this information is out there. My son was diagnose with high blood pressure a year and half ago, he is now 8yrs. old.

This is a wonderful foundation! I was diagnosed when I was 9 years old with hypertension. The clinic that I was treated at before hand never monitored blood pressure and it wasn't until I went to an oral surgeon to have some teeth pulled that the this problem was discovered. I don't remember the exact numbers but they were extremely high and the nurse thought the machine was broken. Tons of test and doctor visits later I am now 20 years old and a student at LSU. I'm part of the small percentage of people who have high blood pressure for an unknown reason. Awareness of this issue is crucial to improving the health of children in America.

Good news, I didn't even have to ask for Caden's blood pressure to be taken at his last visit. Thanks for bringing awareness to more parents!

Yay, I am so glad that you followed your vision through. We go through things for reasons and you're not letting your trials be in vain. People need this information. I am so glad that Matthew's experiences will be a testimony to others of the goodness of God and how He is a healer. Many kids will not have to go through the things he endured because you followed through on the vision that I know was God given. I love y'all!

I think this is awesome of you to take this initiative and make other parents aware of your son's condition. I don't recall my children's pediatrician nor my family physician who sees them from time to time ever taking their blood pressure at an office visit. However, both of my children recently saw Dr. Prem Menon for asthma and his nurse took their blood pressure on each visit. I will request it from now on. Thanks for making me aware. Good luck!
